Things aren’t looking good for Manchester City’s Samir Nasri
Samir Nasri picked up a thigh injury which has left him out of the playing field since October of 2015. The Frenchman required 100 stitches as he went through a surgery but still hasn’t been able to get back on the field.
Earlier in February, Nasri stated that he wants to finish his career in Manchester City as he wants the Premier League club to be his last one but the Frenchman has seriously been going through a hardship which puts him at risk of leaving the Etihad Stadium sooner than what he expected.
"This club is doing everything to be the most dominant in the world. We have an ambitious owner who tries to improve the team and facilities every single year. There are so many exciting things happening here. You never know what will happen in football, but it would be a pleasure to finish my career at City." Manchester City’s Samir Nasri said as he voiced his desire to remain with the Premier League until he decides to retire.
According to rumors, Pep Guardiola wants to replace some of the current players of Manchester City. The Spanish manager will be taking charge of Manchester City in the summer when the current season reaches it’s end and its believed that Guardiola is not interested in utilizing a few of the players who haven’t been playing with the club and one of those players is Samir Nasri.
Jesus Navas, Pablo Zabaleta, Wilfried Bony, Fabian Delph and Clichy are the other players that Guardiola is believed to be interested in offloading from Manchester City as they haven’t been making an impact with the Premier League club or simply because they don’t form any part of Guardiola’s future plans.
