Samir Nasri

The French National Team achieved the title of world champion after they won the FIFA World Cup defeating the Croatian team in Moscow. The country won its 2nd World Cup title, which is indeed a proud feeling for all players who gave it their best shot. It is one of the diverse teams that took part in the league. The team has 7 Muslim players altogether, which includes Adil Rami, Benjamin Mendy, Djibril Sidibe, Paul Pogbo, Nabil Fekir, N’Golo Kante, Ousmane Dembele and Nabil Fekir. This was not the first time the team displayed diversity as many players in the past have contributed to the national team. Samir Nasri was one of the top goal scorers for the national team and his brilliance in the game is unmatchable. He majorly played as a winger and an attacking midfielder. He is best known for his ball control and dribbling ability. Nasri’s style of playing and his cultural background has been compared with Zinedine Zidane, the French legend of football. Samir Nasri was the best when Manchester City won the League Cup 4 years back. He was also the man of the match and that’s known to all.

However, the UEFA announced that he would serve a 6-month ban due to an anti-doping violation. Nasri is undoubtedly an outstanding player and he proved it in England during the 2010/11 season. He played brilliantly well in 2013/14 and that was the sole reason why the city scored 156 goals. His talents were shown in a partnership with his opponent Steven Nzonzi in the last season. Nasri started Euro2012 with Karim Benzema and Franck Ribery and scored the 1st goal of the tournament in France.
