Samir Nasri praises Wenger
Former Arsenal midfielder has stated that Arsene Wenger has been instrumental in his career.

He said that he has always considered the French manager as a role model and that he has had a major impact on his career.
Indeed Arsene Wenger was the one that brought him to England and turns him into the player that he has become.
Samir Nasri said that back then Arsenal had a lot of French players such as Thierry Henry, Robert Pires, and Patrick Viera and that they were a team that had a massive following in France. He said that he grew up watching this team play and that it was a dream for him to get into this team.
He said that he readily accepted Wenger’s offer to play at Arsenal and that this has been a big decision in his career. He admitted that at this time he was quite young and that there was massive pressure on his shoulders and it is thanks to Arsene Wenger that he managed to handle the demand of the game and also adapted to the Premier League.
Samir Nasri said that it was a dream to work under Arsene Wenger and that he was a model for him. He said that he did not hesitate to join the Gunners and he believes that this decision has positively affected his career.
When asked why he chooses to leave the Gunners and join Manchester City, he said that he wanted to win trophies and that he feel that it was easier to achieve it with City.
Since the arrival of Guardiola at the head of Manchester City, Samir Nasri has lost his place in the team and has been sent out on loan to Sevilla. He said that he is happy there and that he is doing his best to help the team win games.
